Snack Container 005

Tired of your kids asking for snacks constantly?  Give this a try!  Every time the boys ask for a snack, I can send them to the snack container in the fridge!  Have fun with it.  My boys are SO excited that they have their very own snack container.  If you can, buy organic veggies.

Costco sells single hummus containers the boys can also help themselves to.  This is a huge hit in our home. The container you see in the picture has broccoli, cauliflower, red pepper, orange pepper, celery, radishes, and carrots. I took the boys with me to Whole Foods and let them pick out what they wanted in their special container.  If you don’t think they will eat hummus, try a healthy version of salad dressing.  Kids love to dip stuff into stuff!  Make a few little containers full of hummus, guacamole, peanut butter or salad dressings and let them dip away!  You may have to remind them to eat the vegetable and not just lick the dip off:)

Tip:  As soon as you get home from the grocery store, take the time to just wash and cut.  It will save you a ton of time later!  Check out my favorites page for more info on these amazing containers!
